I'm by no means an expert, but BB has a habit of using unique SKUs for their products. They do this because their price match policy is based around model numbers and SKUs matching. Because this has a unique BB SKU, any price match requests against the same product at Amazon would be denied. That said, its also possible BB requested a unique model from WD with different tunings. So do what you will with this information.

BB is so big, they get the manufacturers to add the signifier to the model number to get around price matching. It makes it easy for the manufacturer to know instantly if a warranty/support request comes through a sale in that channel.

They said it was a different product even though it has the same name, size, specs, everything. Only difference was part of the item number. I highly suspect the 'BB' in the item number means "Best Buy" so of course nobody else would have the same thing, unless they were selling drives that came from Best Buy to begin with. Why even claim to do price matching when they are going to change the item numbers to get out of it? I would have given Best Buy my money but they denied the price match so Amazon got just a little bit more of their business. Looks like they would do the match, even if it didnt make much profit, to satisfy customers and keep them coming back. If they dont want to keep me then I'll gladly shop elsewhere. TL/DR They use special item numbers to keep from having to price match...instead of simply not doing price matching..
