• It uses micro USB connection. It will charge when you plug it in the USB connection on your PC or power plug in an outlet. Also, my car radio charges it while I listen to it when plugged in the USB outlet. You can hook it to speakers using the the headphone jack if one is available.

• Yes, you can charge it with any USB phone charger and hook it up to any speakers by using a mini jack to mini jack cable
