• Unless it's in MP3 format, it won't play. You can by a cable that goes from USB to Android style ends, which is what this uses.

• I'm not sure you would be able to. The flash drive and mp3 player would need to be accessed through a computer, so no direct link is achievable. If both are plugged into the computer, it should be a simple copy and paste scenario into the music folder of the player.
