“I have a 7UM-ENG and the battery will not recharge. how do I replace it??”

• I don't think you can replace the battery on these, I think you just have to buy a new MP3 player. Given how the one I have works, it's kind of worth going ahead and getting a new one.

• Here's an answer I found.... Yes. But it is not made to be. It takes opening the unit and soldering. But, it sounds like SanDisk is gracious about replacing in the first year, including paying postage both ways. 1-866-SANDISK (726-3475)
