About how many songs can this hold? null

It has 8 GB of memory. The actual number of songs depends on the average size of each song, but assuming each song is 5 MB then this means you can store about 1600 songs.

I bought one a few years back and returned it almost immediately. Even though I had a 32GB card in there, it would not recognize more than 2,000 songs. I could put them on the card but the player only recognized and settings reported 2,000 songs. On my old Sansa on shuffle it plays from internal or external memory at random. Here it will only play from one or the other. If buying, check the instructions, maybe it has been fixed since I had one.
