If your truck stereo has an Auxiliary input 3.5mm audio cable connection, then you can play this Clip Sport Plus through your truck stereo system. Volume is controlled by the two buttons on the left side of the MP3 player and your truck stereo volume. If the sound sounds clipped or distorted you may need to turn down the MP3 player volume. Like you, I do not have a Bluetooth receiver on my Sony stereo system but I do have an Auxiliary input 3.5mm audio cable connector and it works great.
