A usb 2.0 thumbdrive idle will consume roughly 50mA and during use about 105mA

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This "Flash Drive" is consuming very low power supply, you cannot imagine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The specifications you are asking are not provided by the vendor, package or device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I searched but I haven't been able to find the mA usage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have to know the answer to that question, I'd guess that your power supply is way too small for what you have in the case!! Since it doesn't have or NEED an external power supply like an external hard drive I'm SURE that your computer can handle it. If something DOES pull too much power, it usually is just shut down, if I remember correctly. (The USB power). A reboot re-powers it, but it would undoubtedly just go down again until the current hogger was removed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SanDisk Cruzer 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive uses less that 5MA power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.System Information on my Mac reports this as 500 mA, but I'm sure it's far less overall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Usb2.0 generates upto 500mA whereas usb 3.0 generates upto 900 mA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think it is measured in mA because it's not battery powered. It's just used for storage. If something doesn't need charging or run on batteries, it has no mA.
