USB 2.0 and earlier flash drives would work, but only transfer data up the maximum theoretical rate for the respective standard. The price per gigabyte is so cheap now I would honestly go with a 32GB if you're wanting to save recorded sessions for editing on a PC and don't want to shell out for a capture card.
