“Why is this not working with my Thinkware Dash Cam Q800 Pro? This was recommended to pair with the cam by Best Buy and even Geek Squad had issues with it. Larger capacity and better quality, shouldn't be an issue.”

Please note that we do not recommend using any Memory Cards other than the SanDisk®️ High Endurance/ MAX Endurance Memory Cards to be used with devices like Dashcams, Security/ Surveillance Devices, and In-Car Recording Devices as these devices perform constant read and write operations while recording continuous videos. Please use a SanDisk®️ High Endurance/ MAX Endurance Memory Card with such devices since these Memory Cards are specifically designed for constant Read/ Write Operations. You may purchase these Memory Cards from our official online store or from BestBuy. However, this DashCam supports microSDHC Memory Card of upto 32GB capacity.

Although one of my UAVs cannot handle a 128 gb. card per the mfg manual. I would check with manufacture's manual and see if it has specific recommendations. Also - are you able to format the 128gb card using your Q800 Pro?
