• The packaging indicts yes to both. I have personally dunked them in ocean water on accident, and they survived without issues.

• This card is shock proof as there really are no moving parts and assuming it fits properly and snug in your camera or camcorder, regular bumps and movements will not harm it. Water proof, yes. It has a tight seal so if it does get wet, you can just wipe it off and are ready to go again. If the card stays submerged in water... you will probably need to purchase another. Also keep away from salt water as the salt and other minerals may damage the metal.
