I got the same notification as did you when inserting the memory card into a relatively new Sony camera. The camara however did offer a method to format the memory card. I followed the suggested method and it worked. If you can't get it to work, bring the camera into a camera store and ask them for help, or go to the camera brand's web help site.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work. Double check that the slide switch on the side isn't in the "locked" position. It's easy to miss that. If it's not locked, then it's defective and should be returned for an exchange.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Mac, I had no problems with installing the disk into the camera or with my Mac. I would have Best Buy check your disk and take the camera in with you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using his memory card with my Nikon d3300 and uploading it to.my MacBook Air. Not sure why you are having such problem. I would recommend reformatting. If that doesn't not work, contact the manufacturer and elaborate your problem. I hope this helps.
