• Never used it with dash cam. Only used it with GoPro. But I donet see a reason why it would not work on dashcam.

• If it had microSD port for inserting, it will work. Check with the manufacturer to ensures micrSD. I have a To guard aswell, but you didn't mention the specific model, but mine uses this type.
