“I have a brand new card, 1st time use and got the message that "the files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom" ( Lightroom 4). How do I upload these files???”

Check to see if there is an update to LR4 that adds support for the raw format you are using. Odd so ready if it's newer, it will only be supported in LR5, though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have an older version of Lightroom you either need to purchase the latest Lightroom or pay the $9 a month for Lightroom creative cloud, which also gives you photoshop. I just ran into this problem on my computer!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need to install in your PC the RAW pictures converter from your camera manufacturer to upload the files to your PC. After that you should be able to upload the converted files to lightroom. Lightroom includes developing utilities for RAW files from some camera manufactures.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Has for formatted the media on insertion? Most media types need formating to the device that you are inserting them into. Most phones will provide a format to the card when inserted, same for camera's etc.
