• This Disk does come with TypeC to TypeC cable for newer computers as a standard but it also has an additional adapter in the box that one can put on one end of TypeC cable to let it connect to USB TypeA 3.1 ports.

• Hi, please be informed that the SanDisk Extreme Portable V2 SSD Drive comes with a USB C - USB C cable and a USB C to USB A Adapter included in the box. You can use the USB C to USB A Adapter to transfer data if your computer does not have a USB Type-C port.

• You can't you need a USB type C in order for this to work. However you can buy an USB 3.0 Adapter Converter USB-A to USB Type C M/F USB-C. So you can plug USB C to your current computer
