Be careful You say pentium that is an old processor the sd card slot may not handle the sdxc format it is higher than 4GB so the file size is more than it will handle I was using win 7 with the sd card slot and learned I needed a USB insignia card reader It's cheap so get that instead of hassle if the sd card reader will not read the faster cards It's not a OS problem it's hardware
