If the camera asks for UHS-1, then UHS-3 will exceed the requirements of the camera. It will work just fine.

If you're recording HD, your camera may only require class 10 or uhs 1, but some of those cards may still fail on your camera because some cards just aren't that good. If you're shooting photos, this card will allow mor photos to be written in a shorter amount of time than UHS1. UHS3 is the way to go. You'll still be able to fill the card to capacity and you can trust the card more than a slower card not to fail in the middle of an important shot. Also, you may need a better card for the next camera you own:-)
