My experience with flash drives is that your computer will see them as a new drive when you plug them in. When you open the "New Drive"(you can name it), it is just like an extra drive with photos, music, folders etc. You can download anything that will fit on the drive. The only time it will "overwrite" or delete what is already there, is when the pre-existing item has the same name as the new item you are downloading. It should ask you, "There is another item by this name on this drive, do you want to replace it." If you want to keep it but still want to put the new item into the drive, just rename the new item. Then download it. This is the way every other flash drive I have ever used works. You should experiment first. inventory what is on the drive and then add one item. If it wants to delete something, that is up to you. Good luck! Doug
