I'm not sure, the software in the I-Pod doesn't normally allow this type of direct transfer to happen. Music transfers to I-Pods used to required the use of I-Tunes to make this work, due to Apple's ongoing digital rights management issues. It is unclear to me if the I-Pod can download the SanDisk app. The App is what allowed me to overcome Apples programming shortcomings ;)
