Physical write protection? I'm not sure what that means. It does have a "slider" aspect which hides the head of the USB to keep it safe. Typically write protection on drives is a function of authorizing read/write access to the files on the storage device. You know...right clicking on the file name and allowing, or denying, read/write? That sort of thing...
