There really is no difference.They are basically the same.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First, Sandisk is just a better brand overall. It's just like going out to buy a television. Do you buy the VIZIO, or do you step it up and buy the product with the better parts inside, and that works better? You buy the SAMSUNG. In this situation, PNY is the Vizio TV and Sandisk is the SAMSUNG. I like the look of the Sandisk better. Also, customer reviews are much higher for the Sandisk than for the PNY. If someone is willing to take the time like I am to write a review and give it high marks, then you can take it into account. Now when 10,000 people review a product and that product is 4.5 out of 5 for a review, BUY THE ITEM. The case here is around 4000 people, but you get the idea. Also, the price is right. The 2.0 is only 4 or 5 dollars cheaper than this one. It is worth the extra 5 bucks. The write speed is slower than other 3.0 flash drives, but for me the price is why I bought it. I couldn't afford $100 for a flash drive.
