Richard 1, my results are after I formatted it. Same with another 128 I bought after this one. So Richard 1, you got a lot closer to 128 than my 123? If so maybe I should return this one as well? Those few MB you mention are really a insignificant amount of space to help make room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The USB Drive holds back operation space so you will not get the full capacity as listed. Outside of this, my recommendation is that you not fill the drive to it's capacity. So if you buy a 128GB usb drive, plan to put, at minimum, no more than 115 GB to 120GB of data on it. We have found that filling to full capacity could be problematic in some cases depending upon how you are using the drive (data files only or streaming from the drive, etc.). Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Remember, there are nearly 13MB of Sandisk software on that flash drive. Since I don't ever use that Sandisk software, I do a fast format to remove it and then I have almost the full 128GB available.
