A 1TB hard drive is 1,000 GB and since this is 128GB you will only be able to record 1/8 of what you could with the 1 TB hard drive. Sounds like the 1TB hard drive is a better choice.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The difference is capacity. A 1TB (terabyte) hard drive has 1000GB (gigabytes). The 1TB hard drive has almost about 8x more storage space than the smaller capacity 128GB usb/flash drive. In short, the 128 GB USB drive is just that, 128GB. Good luck!
