“I have a casio flip phone, 8 years old, does have a micro usb port. Question is will the scandisc trans fer the data from the phone, will the scan disc be able to communicate with the old phone? Thanks”

This is not for any other device other than an Android or Google base device backup using MicroSD so I would suggest if you need to back up your phone you find another way this is not compatible with flip phones it's only good for micro USB connections to your smartphone and the smartphone has to be an Android platform phone

Android or Google platform phone so if your phone does not have Micro USB and it's not a smartphone or a Android phone then it won't work with an older phone like a like a Casio. It won't work with any other phone unless it has a smartphone program such as Google with Android software
