• Speeds up to 100mb/s again lots of factors come into play, how fast your device that its connecting to, amount of data, and data type etc... Two different pieces of technology, one needs just a USB port, preferably USB 3.0 and the other needs dedicated reader to use.

• Seems to max out at around 15 MB/s. Write speeds are pretty slow (sure doesn't need the USB 3.0 port)

• Nominal write speed and comparable class of SD drive? It all depends on what your USB drive supports. As far as the class of SD card, I have not heard of the comparison, try Google.
