Yes. You don't need any special software to use the music files that you have stored on the USB stick, as your computer will treat this USB stick as just another attached (external) USB hard drive. Your music files have to be compatible with the music player that you have on your computer, though, in order to play.

As long as your piano can directly write to flash drives, you can record on your piano, move to your PC and make a CD. AND if you want to move it to your smartphone for ease of sharing, you can do that to. Overall a very handy device. And i did not need any software to move files from this drive to my computer.

Please try again later.it all depends on the format of the files if they are .mp3 windows can burn them to cd easily with media player or itunes if they are .wav files you will have to convert them so most cd players can play them. many of the newer audio devices will play .wav and .mp3 files without conversion you will need to see the compatibility of the device you are trying to play the files on
