• Yes,. Most cars and TV's require a drive be formatted in FAT32. This drive comes that way. Most cars recognize MP3 files so just record your music as an MP3 and your good to go

• Being a retired music teacher and my own DJ business, I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert. YES is your answer. It's made similar to making a CD. The big plus is that on a USB drive you can put with 32 gb, you can put at least 2,000 songs. Of course the USB 64 gb will double that. The USB drive will prompt you. You click on "new folder' and transfer the selected songs to the usb. >highlight all and click 'Send to Drive usb. Put your songs in the folder. Make as many folders as you like and type the genre or your determine play list, i.e. "Favorite RnB", etc. At Best Buy, a usb is available at a modest price. I use Winamp as my player and music storage. It's a great player and it's free. If you plan to make CDs or rip a CD it's easy. There is a lifetime fee of $20. (a bargain) I don't mind sending more information if needed.
