What? No--this will not speed up your word processor, or how fast you can type with your fingers. On the off chance that this is not a joke, It is designed to copy your files/information faster to and from your computer. The speed; however, is predicated on whether or not your corresponding intake slot is also 3.0 compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As this flash drive is a device for transferring stored information, it has two functions: recording information that is stored in the device that it is plugged into (reading) and transferring the information that it (the flash drive) contains into another device (also known as writing). Thus, when it says that it can write 10 times faster, it means that it can move the information that it contains into another device ten times faster than whatever it is being compared to (assumedly a USB 2.0 flash drive).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It means that the USB 3.0 will save your files 10 times faster and read your files 10 times faster. I use USB 2.0 and also USB 3.0 flash drives, When I save my work to the USB 2.0 drive it takes a lot longer to save my work than it does when I save my work to the USB 3.0 drive. It also takes a lot more time loading a file from the USB 2.0 drive. I hope this answers your question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You really need to have a newer computer with a 3.0 drive to notice a big diffrence in speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It refers to the speed of copying files (songs etc.) to this flash drive. Files can be copied to this device up to 10 times faster than Cruzer 2.0 when it is connected on a USB 3.0 port. The improvement in speed may not be so high if you connect it on a USB 2.0 port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Read and write speeds are based on reading(accessing) files from the drive and writing(saving) files to the drive. USB 3.0 is up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 provided you plug the usb into a usb 3.0 port on your computer. USB 3.0 ports are a standard blue color but usb 3.0 drives are backwards compatible with usb 2.0
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wondered same thing while back, but this only means that if you have a computer with USB 3.0 capability. Most of my usb 2 drives are slow and get maybe 3-6 megs per sec i think lol, so my new drive with the 3.0 transfers a ton faster. So if your computer does not support 3.0, don't bother with the 10x speed thing, 2.0 write speeds are the max you will get.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It did work fast, but I cannot compare it to another flash drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but you can verify it on google
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The speed of the USB3 Drive will depend on different factors of your Pc. You "must" have a USB3 port on your Pc for this drive to work at faster speeds. It will work in USB2 ports but it will only perform at the USB2 speeds. If you have the proper USB3 ports on your Pc, you should see faster speeds.
