It will only run at 3.0 speeds if the tablet is 3.0 compatible. Otherwise it is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and will run at 2.0 speeds.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Simply, no. The big port (USB type A-male) is USB 3.0; it's blue on the inside, it looks exactly like a USB 2.0 male plug but it's much faster. The small port (Micro-B USB-male) is USB 2.0; it's a single 5 prong connector, the new micro 3.0 is almost twice as wide, and you'll know it when you see it. It's the same speed as a USB 2.0 connector. So, in essence, the PC to Adapter speed is improved but the Adapter to phone/tablet is the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't believe it would work, it would need the USB 3.0 connector which is an addition to the normal usb connector.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if the tablet is capable for USB 3.0
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the USB drive will maintain the USB 3.0 speeds if your tablet properly supports USB 3.0. If the tablet does not support USB 3.0, then the drive will revert back to USB 2.0 speeds.
