“What does your response mean "works as regular plug and play USB when used with computer mean"? I thought what options are there?? I could download an app to automatically move pics. Why doesn't the package say android? Thanks.”

I recently purchased this drive and I can tell you it works with my Android based Samsung A51 phone without any formatting or tinkering...right out of the package. I can then put the drive in my Dell Windows10 laptop and it works there. I can move files from one device to the other without trouble. There is an app you can use on your Android phone(and maybe it's available for windows too) but I haven't used it. I'm able to move the files I want (usually a large group of pictures etc) without the use of the app. So as long as your phone as a type C port (or you have an adapter) this drive should work without issue.
