“are the flash drives password protected ? ?”

• I haven't opened mine up yet but I have never come across a new SanDisk flash drive that is password protected out of the package. They do come with software to protect them if you chose to do so.

• The SanDick Ultra Luxe 128GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive has its own SanDisk software, with extension exe. There is also a SanDisk software PDF. It's up to the user to decide to install and use the security software.
