This is not retractable and it does not have a cap. It is very slim and plugs directly into the USB port.

Please try again later.Neither retractable nor a cap on this style, but new Sandisk "Dual Drive USB Type-C " (with a USB 3.1 Type A (original, large USB) has a swivel, exterior sleeve that covers one end at a time. The dual drive is almost as slender. Perfect to use with a USB-C phone & computer.
