Works PERFECTLY on Samsung Galaxy S8+...that's what I have! You either did not insert the sd card properly...or you got a dud! To be fair, it is a little difficult to insert without Moving the SIM card that's already in there, as they are Both So Tiny! I would suggest opening your phone again to make sure Both cards are securely & flatly inserted & the correct side is facing up!

Sounds like possibly a camera settings issue or a faulty card that should be returned.
