The technology in your Nikon is about 8 years old now, so I don't think it matters.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 32 Gb holds more photos. Sometimes the larger GB will not work on the older, smaller cameras. I have not used my Cool Pix in a while so I don't remember if that is the one that I have to use the 8Gb or 16GB with.
