A:AnswerThus far I am getting an incompatibility error when I insert mine using the adapter. I don't see any side slot or different area this mini sd card can be placed instead? I wished I known before getting the camera because everything else I use involves a micro sd card and it's so easy to transfer images by popping the card into my Android phone when wifi transfer isn't an option (when I ever get that figured out). Otherwise I am bummed with Cannon because they should be clearly. The card is so multi functional but the camera is not. I've tried all kinds of micro as brands and various adapters without any luck of working. I use the huge thumb size card still. (Huge in comparison to micro that is).
A:AnswerYour camera takes full sized SD cards, not MicroSD. You could use an adapter, but I would not...
The memory cards that can be used with the camera are listed below.
SD SDHC SDXC
Yes Yes Yes
NOTE
The camera can use UHS-I cards, but since it is not compatible with the UHS-I standard, reading/writing speeds will be equivalent to SD Speed Class 10 at most.
When shooting movies, use a large-capacity SD card rated SD Speed Class 6 " " or higher.
If you use a slow-writing card when shooting movies, the movie may not be recorded properly. Also, if you play back a movie on a card with a slow reading speed, the movie may not play back properly.
To check the card’s reading/writing speed, refer to the card manufacturer’s Web site.
A:AnswerYes, it will I have the generic version of the go pro my friend has a go pro. When I told him how great of a deal I got on this card he got one and is so happy he did!
A:AnswerIt will likely work, but when buying memory for video, especially GoPro which can do 4k video, I'd recommend the fastest RAM you can get. I bought this chip because it was cheaper and I used it in my tablet, where I'd be putting apps or music on, which don't have near the speed requirements of video.
A:AnswerI can't really answer your question because I have yet to fill the memory. So far, I have been able to record at least 6, or 7 hours of the dashcam video without exceeding the capacity.
