“How is the speaker powered in these illustration, is it installed over an electrical socket? I don't see power cords in the photos. I have Sonos One SL speakers.”

The speakers have a power cord. These holders mount to the wall and the power cord just goes from the speaker to an outlet. This wall mount isn't mounted over an outlet. You will see the cord from the speaker to the outlet.
