• It is designed to do that but unlike every other position, it isn't very easy to do and it still hangs below the cabinet when in that position. I thought I might use it that way but we leave it down and mostly move it forward or backward on the track and/or swivel it left and right. We love this mount and we get compliments about how well it looks under the cabinet all the time.
