A:AnswerYes, I definitely would not rely on hollow wall anchors to hang a TV on. NO NO NO! Here's what you can do so you can place your TV wherever you want on any wall BUT this still involves locating studs (which is inevitable really). Why do this?: If you find that using only 2 studs will put your TV too far left or too far right on a given wall, you can screw a 2X4 (with 3 pieces of 3/8 inch by 4-5 inch long lag bolts ) across 3 studs (make sure you have a solid "grab" onto each stud with your 4 to 5 inch lag bolts. Put the the 2X4 right onto the wall over the drywall/plaster where you were planning to mount the TV in the first place, then simply mount the TV mounting bracked to that 2X4. It'll all be hidden by the TV (tip: paint it the same color as the wall) so it works quite well and gives you more flexibility on where you put your TV You may need something different than a 2X4 depending on the orientation of the TV hanger's mounting bracket that you choose. Some of the brackets have holes for the bolts (the ones you will now screw into that 2X4) that are left and right oriented and some are up and down. You'll see what I mean when you get there. I could explain that too but I'm tired. GL!
A:AnswerThis series of Bravia TVs don't have a traditional 4 hole VESA mounting pattern... they came with their own proprietary stand that doubled as a wall mount. We do not currently offer a compatible TV wall mount.
A:AnswerHi Jessi,
This mount has cable covers on the arms of the mount. You then route the cables through the arms and then put the covers back on and they should be hidden. In the instruction manual there are photos that should help show how to do it. If you have any questions give us a shout at info @ sanus . com or at 1-800-359-5520 we are happy to help!
Thanks,

A:AnswerThanks for the question. The mounting bracket is 13 inches high by 2.59 inches wide, and the mounting holes are spaced 11.39 inches apart. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

A:AnswerHi Will,
This mount should be compatible with your TV. It has a 300x300 VESA pattern, weighs 40lbs and is 55" which all fall within the range of this mount.
Thanks,

A:AnswerHey Steve,
Unfortunately this mount doesn't feature any post-install lateral shift adjustments. The best way to get it perfectly centered would have been to have it installed off center a couple inches, but that can be tough to do depending on where your studs are.
Thanks,
- Haydn @ SANUS

A:AnswerHey Rob,
We will need the model number of your TV to figure out the exact screws that you need. Please give our customer support team a shout at [email protected] or at 1-800-359-5520, and we'd be happy to help find the right size for ya here.

A:AnswerHey Jeff,
The BMF320 only swivels up to 60 degrees but is compatible with TV's 32"-55" and can hold up to 50 lbs. The BSF316 can swivel up to that 90 degrees that you are looking for. The BSF316 is a little smaller mount and can hold TV's up from 19"-40" and holds up to 35 lbs. If you have your TV's model number you can go to our Sanus mount finder and plug in that model number and it will tell you what mounts are compatible. Or feel free to give us your model number and we'd be happy to check for compatibility for you. You can reach us at [email protected] or at 1-800-359-5520, we are happy to help!
Thanks,

A:AnswerEvery installation is different. New construction with a layer of drywall and easy to find studs compared to a house from the 50's with metal lath and plaster over studs that aren't quite 16" apart can lead to significant differences in cost and time involved.
