It should work great, though to be clear, you’d have to choose one of the two walls close to the corner on which to technically place the mount. You can then position the TV to be on one wall or move it to cross the corner (hypotenuse). I would dry-fit (hold with a friend before you drill) to get the right positioning. The mount is solid and swings nicely in lots of positions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I installed my TV basically floating in the corner of an outdoor cabana with this mount but it folds into a weather box mounted flush against one wall when not in use. If you want it perfectly in the corner at a 45 degree or any angle I would think it could be done. I would put the whole thing together with the TV and safety screw and set it in the corner on the floor to determine the best location to attach mount to the wall when elevated. I would think you would want it a few inches from touching the walls for best adjustment when elevated. The best location may not align with the studs, which is a whole different issue related to the the weight of the TV and wall composition. I thru bolted the mount to a 2 x 12 so I didn’t have that issue. Then take it apart of course to elevate and mount to the wall.
