“over a mantle install - what happens if the one stud placed is not in the center of the fireplace. Is there an adjustment techs can make to allow TV to be CENTERED ON MIDDLE OF FIREPLACE?”

I installed mine a bit off center and simply pull it away from the wall a bit and move it to the center. You need to make sure the mount is one you can pull away from the wall.
