“The mount extends out about 28" pulling straight out. However, moving it to either side appears to be significantly less. How much distance is lost when turning side to side? I want to wall mount a XR-77A80J and be able to swivel 90 degrees.”

Mine does not swivel 90 degrees due to the cutout space the TV sits in. But it is also dependent on the length of the cables and we had to add an extension cord to the power cable to get it to extend the full amount and then swivel.
