“I have an LG 65" OLED and a SONOS Sound bar. Can I hang the Sound bar from the extended bracket so it is not behind the TV when the bracket is extended? Thanks”

Hey John, Most sound bar mounts will connect to the TV brackets right behind your TV that way the sound bar will move with your TV when extending or adjusting it's position. If you are referring to attaching to the extension arms, no you cannot hang a sound bar from those. I hope that helps.
