- Answer Yes, mounting into studs is the best and safest option. It should be able to support your TV as long as your TV has a VESA pattern in the range of 200x200mm to 600x400mm and is under 125lbs. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS

- Answer We do not recommend installing into drywall alone. Drywall without a stud cannot support the weight of the TV and the mount. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS

QuestionIn 2016 for a prior home I bought a sanus tv mount that held the monitor up with a single connected arm (versus 2 arms in this model) which allowed the TV to extend farther from the wall & allowed for even greater panning. Do you still make that model?

QuestionThis mount seems AWFULLY heavy. What is the weight? Is it safe on studs for a pony wall? My TV is only 48" and weighs only about 50 pounds. Do you have a similar, same features, mount not so EXTREME?
