“I need to Mount my 77 inch, 52 pound LG TV exactly in the center of my wall, but there is a stud in the exact center and the nearest other studs are 24inches away on either side. I don’t see how this Mount could allow me to have the TV in the center?”

That size TV would require to anchor on 2 studs. I used this mount for a 75 anchored to 1 stud and it has been fine for over 2 years. I also used it for an 85" anchored to 2 studs. The mount has room to play with to make it as center as possible.
