“Hi! I have a recessed wall over top of my fireplace and the TV I am purchasing will not fit in the wall like my old one. I was wondering if this TV mount will expand outwards so that it will fit over my fire place?”

• Yes, but not more than a few inches and certainly less than six.

• Yes, it will expand out of the wall like 6-8inches straight forward , upward or downward. I have an 85” TV and this TV mount move it like nothing on it.
