Hi, Thanks for reaching out. Are you able to share your TV's model number. This information will help us determine if this mount is a fit for your TV. When full recessed, the mount arm sits 2.86" from the wall. A typical flush mount is anywhere from just under and inch to 1.5" from the wall. - Katie @SANUS
