A:AnswerI cannot measure since I have my speaker mounted. If it helps I can tell you that you can mount a thin wood ply if you center channel Is very wide and deep like mine. It has some screw holes pre-drilled for the rubber feet that I was able to use. I feel for most average center channels to bookshelves this top plate will work as is.
