• You have to use some force, I thought I was going to damage it, but then it tilted no issues

• You should be able to tilt the screen. Hold the top (center) and bottom (center) of your tv while mounted,tile the top back and pull the bottom forward, or vice versa, the tv should tilt.

• On the back there is a way to loosen the center of the mount. Tilt the tv down manually then quickly retighten.

• The part that attaches to the TV has a knob that you can loosen or tighten. Loosen it and you can tilt the TV on both horizontal and vertical axis. Then tighten the knob to hold the setting.
