“Is this a permanent mount or is it easily removable. I'm mounting this on my deck by the pool and need a portable type mount. I found one locally that has a mount plate that mounts permanently and the part that mounts on the tv slides over the wall mount and locks into place. When removing you just have to push a tab and pick up to remove. Does this one work this way?”

No, it would need to be mounted with bolts. You could take the tv with the mount attached to take it somewhere else but it has a locking screw so you would need to take that off first.
