Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used 2 Velcro straps (30" long or longer) to secure the cable box vertically to the mount on the back of the TV. My cable box uses RF signal instead of IR which means there does not need to be line of sight from the remote to the cable box. You actually don't even see the cable box. Works great!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The best solutions for a cable box (using an RF Remote) in my opinion are to strap them to the back of the television with high strength velcro or put them in a closet with a long HDMI wire.
