The product is designed to work with drywall. There is no reason you can't use it with plaster walls, however, you may end up with cracks in the plaster depending on how fragile it is.

Please try again later.It Should work as long as you have sufficient space behind the lathes to run both the power cords and the video cords. you simply need to carefully cut out the sound bar opening and the drill will work well on that medium. be sure that your video cords are all long enough before you run them. its incredibly easy to run then before to install the bar.
